Nalgonda has achieved a significant administrative milestone after the Telangana Legislative Assembly approved legislation upgrading the municipality into a Municipal Corporation. With the upgrade, Nalgonda’s administrative jurisdiction will expand to cover more than 105 square kilometers and serve a population exceeding three lakh residents.
